ChessBase! ChessBase! ChessBase!
HIARCS

I think it’s good for reviewing and analyzing games. It has a clean and fairly minimal interface. It’s not under active development, what you see is all you get. For MacOS there’s nothing better out there. Do you have some specific questions about the functionality?

Thanks... idk I guess I was just wondering if it is worth my money lol. There aren't a lot of Mac friendly chess Softwares out there as far as I'm aware

Correct. Yes, I think it's worth it. It's user friendly and stable. Mark is very responsive if you have issues. I use it to keep my analyzed games on a Mac along with some PGN databases of games to review.
Just make sure it has the features you need.

Awesome! I may be asking you for advice if I have any questions... thanks a ton!

Several years ago my son accidentally wiped out the hard drive on my PC. I lost Hiarcs , Houdini & much else.
I contacted Mark Uniacke. He immediately send me the code & upgrade to Hiarcs and has provided upgrades ever since.
Robert Houdart replied he had no record of my purchase of Houdini. I had bought it from a US retailer several years before and do not recall which.
Needless to say I've been fond of Hiarcs ; not just because of the kindness of Mark, but because it's a great program. It runs an analysis faster than any other I have and seems to use multiple cores. It never balks at any engine I install. It has a great Opening Explorer and will load any pgn file you have as well as online files it supports. It's easy to set up a position for analysis. It formats well a long analyzed game for printing.

HIARCS isn't so bad.
Wow what an endorsement [clap clap]
Though seriously thank you for letting me know
I am thinking about getting HIARCs. Is it worth the investment?
