Just have my reasons
Highest paid/most expensive chess coach

Kasparov isn't cheap. If you want Magnus Carlsen to teach you, I am sure you could get his services if you're willing to make it worth his time. But that would be really, really expensive!
In most cases, hiring a coach thats rated only about 400-500 points higher rated than you is usually sufficient enough to be a good coach for you to improve. There is no sense in paying 150 bucks an hour for a GM to coach someone who is a 1200 rated player. Rating also doesn't make the best coach either. But yes I am sure that these super GM's would carry a pretty penny. Most of them are active in professional play though so I doubt they do much teaching.

Well, I'm coaching for 4,999€/h, but nobody's signed a contract with me yet. Should I reduce it to 4,990€/h?

you make a point, but you could also a non GM coach that charges just as much and does nothing except talking.. bla blabla bla and yes hhe often mentions chess but at the end he thaught you nothing...
but anyway i believe a coach is only worth getting if you are really strong anyway, otherwise its pretty senseless.
like when you have a 3000 tactics rating than you should think about a coach in my opinion.
Also the question is if you have even enough talent, i mean you could have the best coach in the world but still not get better because you just suck and have no talent

oh really? I would be willing to sacrifise myself and give you the dirt-expencive price of $10,000! much more than your super cheap price of 5000 euros...

Agreed with all the FREE rescourses one can get from internet alone (ebooks, software, chess articles, playing communities like chess.com) it really is pointless to spend any money below 2000 for improvement (btw im not 2000 lol but it just seems that way)

I would be happy to charge you more than anyone else. When can we start?
lol.
To answer the OP its probably Dvoretsky, often referred to as a super trainer.

For starters i also would at least go for chess coaches that give chess positions like Dvoretkzy, not that personally know if he is good.
But i definetly would avoid all the esoteric guys..

I'm willing to break the record for highest paid chess coach. I just need a few volunteers to pay me for coaching services and you'll be mentioned in some reference book somewhere that validates my world record setting achievement.
I think $1000 an hour should set the record. However if you find a more expensive coach feel free to send me more.

Beat me to it.
The question is easy. Who could afford to pay a lot? The great players would only pay reasonable amounts to their coach because they are not rich. That leaves the rich players that suck and they would be crazy to throw away money. In my opinion there is no extravagant pay for any trainer.
great players are not rich?? seriously?? maybe not rich but a few millions i would suspect they have.

As far as I know from the limited documentation available to the public only a handful of active/current chess players make over $300k annually. Carlsen may bring in over a million annually but he has sponsors and also places top 3 in all his tournaments in recent years along with those appearance fees and plays frequently. Anand would on the years he has title matches. But over all I doubt there are many millionaire chess professionals out there.

I'll give you a discount and charge $80 for five minutes lol.
I'd give a million to whoever could tell me what your avatar pic is. If I had it, anyway.

Fresh pasta in the process of being made. I suspect it may be tortellini.

I have no idea what the picture is. I google image searched something along the lines of "yellow food" I didn't use actual waffles because the pictures I found of waffles didn't look good so small. I thought if no one really looked at the pic it pretty much looked like the surface of a waffle.
Googling fresh pasta and tortellini it seems grobe has a very good guess. He certainly seems to know more about the pic than I do heh.
Who is the highest paid and most expensive chess coach/trainer in the world today ? I don't want any guesses please if you don't know just tell me the most expensive highest paid one you know of.
