cool, good luck with that
HJ's Training Diary

Wow. It's a good idea to set up a training diary in chess. I also have that which includes how time I use to that category in chess improvement.
How much time to study in the endgame, middle game, openings, Blitz game, tournament game etc.
Good luck with your chess improvement!

Good luck. Although I think 60 chesstempo tactics a day is a bit much. Also, recommend you try analysing your games without Houdini first (although I'm a sucker for just turning the engine on, going to make a sandwich, then coming back to see what it said!).
I'd also recommend skimming over master games in your openings as well, to get the patterns they use in your head and to see what kind of patterns work and what doesn't.

#Day 1 - 25/08/12
Done:
40 Chess Tempo Tactics
A game on chess.com
and here it is with analysis:
This is one of the best games I've played. I didn't made any big blunders here and destroyed the opponent with my attacks. If you find some analysis that I missed, then feel free to tell me. :) I have not done the ICS Course till now, will do it in the evening with my friend. Also I have to do the course OTB, so it will be good for improvement.

Thank you for the suggestion, I have moved by diary to the blog here:

Hi to everyone,
I'm Himanshu Jain from India and I'm 15 years old. I started using chess.com few days back, but I have been working to improve my chess a lot over the last 6 months. This might help keep me more motivated over the long haul.
Strengths:
1)My number 1 strength is tactics, I am very strong at it.
2)I am pretty good at activating my pieces and restricting my opponents.
3)I am best at attacking the opponent's king and queen.
Weakness:
1)My endgames are not good at all.
2) My openings, especially on the white side.
3) I lose the momentum when I'm on the winning side.
My goal:
I want to participate in the biggest chess event happening in Mumbai, next year and win it to get an fide rating. :)
Training:
1) Do 40 standard chesstempo problems a day to improve my tactics and keep myself focused/looking at variations.
2) International Chess School (ICS) 1st Year Chess Course
3) International Chess School (ICS) Opening Course to build an opening repertoire for my game style.
4) Play a single long game daily on Chess.com
5) Analyse the game in Houdini Aquariam to learn from my mistakes
