how accurate are bot ratings?

I'm three months in to a new-found enjoyment of chess and addiction to chess.com, so my rating is not the best while I'm figuring things out, but- I'm currently hovering at around 600, and it feels like I win about 50/50 against similar ranked players, yet all the similar ranked bots are not only easy to play, they sometimes seem intentionally suicidal. I can now beat Nelson the 1300 bot nine out of ten times, and have managed to beat the 1500 bots, so what gives?

The bots aren't really very accurate, compared to human players of a similar rating. The higher level bots are probably the closest.
In order to play better online chess is solution. Chess bots just blunder out of nothing and make silly openings and decisions

Same here I’m rated 900 in rapid and blitz 730. I can beat any bot under 1600 consistently. Just beat 1600 engine bot on second go (first was a draw). Right now the game you are seeing is vs engine level 2000, ima count it as a win just because I got hella nervous and excited and I blundered but I was going to win, easy. I feel like the rating is not comparable to actual players… I didn’t take much time either for the 2000 one like 7-10 min
