🔥 How do I improve in bullet and blitz

Hi! This is an interesting question. A year ago, my bullet and blitz were significantly lower than my rapid rating (200 - 300 points). It's important to identify the reason behind such a difference, as improving your ability to play in faster time controls and under pressure can help with the slower time controls as well.
You would have to go over your blitz games and compare them to your rapid games as a start. Sometimes, the problem could be fixed with a new, faster mouse. Other times, a bad opening repertoire that gives you a lost position in a time control where you do not have the time to come up with an accurate defense in time could be the culprit. The reason behind this discrepancy could be anything from a tactical weakness (in general or in particular types of tactics), the inability to manage your time well, or simply a lack of experience in such time controls.
When high school rolled around in December, I grew busy. I only played the faster bullet and blitz time controls (as I lacked the time for any longer format) and simply got more experienced in such time controls, improving my ability to adjust to the pace of the time control (understanding when to make quick moves, the value of a position with multiple easy moves, the importance of forcing your opponent to make many choices when they are faced with time pressure, etc.). I had an increase of 150 points in blitz and my bullet rating reached 2350, even surpassing my rapid.

You gotta be calm and not panic. Gotta practice and remember one thing, play for cheap tricks, move fast and NEVER RESIGN!!!

Best advice, don't play bullet or blitz online, play over the board. Too many people suspected of using engines, especially the no profile picture accounts (which i don't understand why one would not want to have a cool profile picture and personalize their profile).
If you must play:
Don't play on the app, play on a browser on the phone or on computer, multiple premoves can be made this way, and you can premove or move quicker.
Pick a time limit you are comfortable with, for me 1 min bullet and 3 min blitz.
Also, work on your opening and strategy, occupy the middle, prepare for the opponent's castle, and don't sacrifice your pieces without a backup capture,
and don't throw away your queen, especially early in a game.

For bullet try to defend your position so no attacks are going to be useful and the opponent is going to think

The problem is not that big that you shouldn't play online
