Chess.com helps me show where it can go but I don't know how to move it in real life

Getting a horse to move forward requires an understanding of how to communicate clearly with horses. If you can give a horse clear directions and not give it mixed messages, most horses will move willingly. However, if you have a horse that is unusually stubborn, you may need to use some creative solutions to get it to move where you want it to go.

Hahaha I don't know of you're both joking or if I'm dumb.

A word to the wise:  Horses can be ridden up staircases, but won't come back down.

The horsee moves in an ELL pattern. 2 squares up and then 1 square over.
If the horsee starts on a Black square it ends up on a White square.
If the horsee starts on a White square it ends up on a Black square.
It is the only piece that can jump other pieces.

OP just place your hand on the horse , grip it firmly between finger and thumb, lift your hand in a upwards direction, hover your hand over the required square, gently lower your hand, release both finger and thumb from the horse , you have now completed the move .

I tried doing that but my opponent called the arbiter and took 2 minutes off my clock

I saw a glitch here where my opponent moved 2 squares down and one square over or 2 squares left/right and a square over

The castle can't jump over other pieces

The knight can move in any 2x1 pattern. Notice I am not saying 1x2 pattern because it is the same thing. Not 8x4, not 4x2, only 2x1.

Why are you on a Chess site asking how to move a horse? Try a bucket of horse feed, your welcome.

Dagnabbit, aren't u looking for chess students right about now? This doesn't seem like good advertisement.

And I just wanted a reason to use dagnabbit again. U like how I just threw it in there right at the start?

I prefer 'Holy Moses'

You stick your spurs into its lower ribcage, apply your riding crop across its flank and holler "Giddyup" unless you're the Lone Ranger, in which case it's "Hi-Yo Silver, away!"

I have never seen a horse in real life before.
