How do i play a GM?

In the blood-heat of pursing victory many people forget what they are fighting for. You fight for your hard earned material; for your tempi, and for the space afforded by pawns. For the imbalances as told by Silman, and for the elements given by Nimzowitsch. I am convinced that in your zeal to fight against your enemy, you too have forgotten what you are fighting for. Your opponent is but a dream, an illusion. Nothing exists save for 64 squares and the pieces... and the pieces, are but a thought.

Don't embarrass yourself by giving away free pieces. And count it as a victory if you make it to an endgame.

No.
The only thing that matters in an endgame, is whether or not you quoted your opponent twice. That way, they can tell you're a literal moron, a puerile eyesore.
And judging how you've done with urk, you've already succeeded. Congratulations.
