For the life of me, I cannot find how to disable these green arrows in the settings. Any thoughts? Thanks!
If you play under Challenge mode you won't get the arrows and I don't think Friendly will either, but I'm not certain. The other option is to use Custom and only use the options you want, turning off Suggestions to get rid of the arrows.
I have the same issue. I have not been able to find out how to eliminate these green arrows. it is so frustrating.
Chess.com read this and do it!! Make the green arrows on a hot-key. I like having them sometimes but when they are on all the time I just cheat the whole game so therefore they aren't helpful. Default needs to be off and hold a button for them to show..
If you don't wish to have additional help in games against bots, you can manually select not to have that help.
Below are some screenshots of the android app that might be of help. Selecting either challenge or friendly mode will not display arrows. Additionally, under custom, you can manually deselect "Suggestions" to disable arrows.
These should be similar/the same on pc or on IOS.
I mean we all know how to turn off the help.. I think the whole point is to be able to have help SOMETIMES in a single game.. Not all or nothing..
Well yeah... I mean he did show how to turn them off.. but that involves playing the entire game without any suggestions at all. OP didn't say it specifically but I believe they (like me) like using the suggestions feature but were wondering how to turn them on and off in the middle of the game as needed. I don't think the answer the mod gave, setting up a custom game with no suggestions ever was really the solution we were looking for. Think OP just had to be a bit more specific. Or maybe I'm just looking for a different answer than them. 
I would love to be able to have the option in the game to have the green arrows on a hot key but not on all the time. It doesn't give you time to think
I too would like to be able to turn on/off arrows during the game: I'm still pretty new to chess and the arrows are a nice way for me to study openings. But as soon as the middle game starts I would rather turn the arrows off and take the challenge against the bot.
@TomoMod your screen shots are great but I can't find where to get to the screen you are showing. I've tried every "settings" gear and menu item I can find and so far no luck, This is on a pc
Still not clear or intuitive, how do you turn off the green hints on a PC??????
