I have a PGN that I was able to open in the chess.com android app on my phone. I would like to save the game or the analysis to my profile so I may access it in the future and analyze it on my computer. However, unlike in the website version, the app doesn't seem to have the save button, so I'm not sure how to proceed.
The below information is for posterity for anyone who, like myself, had a bit of a hard time figuring how to get this far using the Square Off app. Suggestions for how to do things in a less annoying way would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure there are easier ways of doing this, but I couldn't figure them out.
The PGN was generated by the Square Off app from a game I played over the board with my neighbor using the Square Off Pro electronic chess board. I couldn't figure out how to upload directly from the square off app to chess.com, despite my chee.com account being linked on the Square Off app, so if people know how to do that that would also be helpful. What I ended up doing was analyzing the game in the Square Off app by going to the analyze game feature (accessible from games history), opening the top right menu (three vertical dots), and downloading the game. I couldn't figure out how to copy the text of the PGN (what appeares if you open the file in Notepad for example) using the Square Off app, so I downloaded a random PGN viewer from the google play store, specifically Chess PGN Master, opened the PGN in that app (had to find the downloads folder which is where Square Off put it). Then, witht he game open in Chess PGN Master, I could copy the PGN text to my clipboard and then paste it into the Chess.com app on my phone.
Which leaves me with my original question, how do I save this to my chess.com account?
