How do i set up a difference in time between me and my friend?

I am better at chess than my friend and thought maybe I could have 3 minutes while he has 10. I see streamers do this often, where they only have like 20 seconds to play against 5 minutes. I cannot figure out how to set this up. Is there a way to do this other than waiting for seven minutes every time?

You cannot do this unless you are chess.com staff. I suggest play a 10 minute game but let your clock run for 7 minutes after the first move.

Thanks! Is there any way to add more than 15 seconds at a time to your opponent's clock? That way we can just start at 3 minutes and I can put him up to 10.

No, the time bump for friends is just 15 seconds.

On other sites, I am not that sure.

For two of my friends on this site (who are also my fellow local chess club players), I do a time bump of 15 seconds so they have more time than me.
