How do I stop Chess?

Someone please help, I want to quit this game because I constantly lose and haven't got much better the whole time I have played chess. It makes me depressed everytime I play the game, and I always feel terrible. Its no fun anymore, but I keep playing because of some addiction that I can't stop. Legit have not been happy the last 2-3 weeks, and I hate my life cause of this game I lose at every single time. I literally have an awful rating after playing for a year of consistent playing, and I'm done with trying to even get good at the game. Sometimes I wish i was born someone else cause of how bad I am at this game. Again I need help, should i see a therapist for this, or is there anyway I can just stop.

You haven't played that many games to warrant it an addiction, I'm sure. You either need to get better at accepting losses or you need to stop playing, however that might happen.

You've been a member for less than a month.

Your ratings are certainly not terrible.

It's up to you if you don't want to continue.

You need to try harder, you're Barely Try1ling.

It's not fun to always lose, but there are ways to get better, and you haven't mentioned what you've tried to improve your game.  Your Blitz and Bullet ratings aren't bad.

There are all types of chess games here and I encourage you to branch out a little because it will help your game to play other types of chess. Come play 4 player chess with me as a team. It's not fun to lose there either, but I don't mind people who make mistakes.

4 player is nice too because you have a teammate to help balance out your weaknesses and help you learn new strategies.

Antichess is also a nice game to teach your brain to do the opposite and try to lose all of your pieces not protect them.

You should be inspired by this game, it teaches you many things even off the board. Understand the beauty and get interested by the stories surrounding them, it's a privilege that only chess players will understand

@ImBarelyTry1ing, just keep trying, you aren't even trying just learn from your losses. You can easily quit games and if you are tired of playing, then just resign or whatever.

Its a painful process my friend when i was at your level i was like you. but the truth is losing is very beautiful. Because if you lose you learn! I now lossing is painful but eventualy your performance will get good after a couple of months.

Capablanca once said that if you want to become a GM you must lose a thousand games.

Also, what did you do to study? For example, books, tactics, studies, calculation, analysis...
