How do i study middlegame strategy?

Hello everyone,

I am rated about 1800 elo and I was just wondering what the best way to study middlegame strategy is? You see I have always slowly played guess the move chess over classic games to study strategy and ideas but I feel like there is a faster way for me to improve my middlegame strategy. Thx

Yeah thanks everyone, by the way kindaspongey, I've read chess structures-a gm guide. It's an awesome book and gave me the same feeling you had. It's best chess book ever written in my opinion.
