That’s an interesting take because you are 1800 blitz and bullet.
For me, 15/10 is too fast and I routinely play under a time scramble.
Even in 90/30 I am in a time scramble heading into the end game.

Remind yourself why you enjoy playing chess and focus on the aspects of the game that you find most enjoyable.
Why not? Rapid is way higher quality chess than blitz or bullet. I enjoy thinking through the position, finding my options and picking the best move. In rapid and blitz you just make a move that you think is the best and if not, you regret it later, sometimes instantly as you make the move... Also I prefer when people with better gameplay win rather than people who focus on clock and make lot's of passive moves to stress you out as you are thinking about a way to punish them.

"whenever i try to play longer than 3 mins i cant focus i get bored"
++ Do you make a plan?
Do you identify 3 candidate moves?
Do you calculate lines after the calculate moves?
Do you evaluate the positions at the end of your calculated lines?
Do you then decide on your move?
Do you then check your intended move is no blunder?
"is it even necessary for me to play rapid to get better at blitz and bullet or not?"
++ Yes. Skill flows from the slower to the faster time control.
You grow the intuition to play blitz by playing and analysing slow games.
