Noob question here, sorry. How do you send someone a PM, such as after a good game etc.? I can't find the button for it.

baddogno

Easiest is just to click on their name.  I just clicked on yours, brings me to your home page and I see this: (Killer bass graphics by the way)

@baddongo Late with this reply but thanks to you my friend. The bass isn't mine but I seriously dig the graphics too. Might inspire me to get a custom job on my own someday!

I am playing a game with someone who has her account closed, does that mean.she is cheating, if so iwould like to resign from the game.

Depends, are the rest of her posts/comments visible?  If so, then yes, she closed her account.  If all her posts/comments are gone, Chess.com closed the account. But you have to be careful. If she was just muted for insulting people, she may be back in the near future.     (Your not a composer are you?)Undecided

Can someone answer me on how to get a message directly to those in charge of chess.com........thanks

Craigarious

I'll post this in hopes someone of influence is reading; I would prefer to play the 20 minute game. The BIG drawback to this is if I have a clear advantage my opponent often abandons the game...... which starts the 3 minute clock to ending the game....BUT..... they will log back on for just a couple of seconds just to start the clock all over again...... they do this in hopes that YOU abandon the game thus giving them the win. With all the technology available can't it just be 2 minutes.... period to call the game if a move is not completed? It gets tiring watching a still chess board for 17 minutes! Thanks.

There are over 50 million registered members on chess.com.

If YOU were in charge, would you allow members to contact you directly?

You might find about 400,000 new emails in your in-box every single morning!

Why not go through channels instead?

Report them. There is a button on their player profile for reporting them.

Wow! Thanks for the quick response! I've seen where you can give them a " thumbs down" for poor sportsmanship but I don't think that really does anything. I would really like to see them change the program. Thanks again

It's right here:

Stalling (which is what you describe) is against the fair play policy.

So yes, you can report them for it.

Again, thanks...... always learning something!!
