It's obvious he tries to be funny and sometimes it works. But often it comes across as labored and contrived.
And I really do not like it when he starts swearing in Russian. That just sounds very harsh and vulgar.

Salo Flohr once told Genna Sosonko an old Pole saying: "if my aunt had a moustache, she would be my uncle". Sosonko replied with the Russian version, which was more crude and to the point.

Levy aims at lower rated players but I think that he is a great streamer. I don't bother watching content like 'Guess the ELO' but generally, I think that he is very entertaining and I like that he wears his heart on his sleeve.

He seems to keep things lively and entertaining. I think that is his appeal, along with his ability to clearly illustrate things in an easy to grasp wat. A lot of other channels have good content but can get dry and boring. With that said, I didnt really like his GM prank or some of the humor on twitch, but he keeps things clean on YouTube.

So there was a fanfiction in hi donation which went: ' "Your chess is insane" said Levy as he slipped his feminine hand in Magnus's pants and smirked. "Are you trying to mate me?" protests Magnus as Levy blushes. The boyish figure undressed before Magnus. Weak tempo play Levy. The two kissed. ' Thats the end of the donation and it wouldnt be that funny if Levy didnt respond in his own uniqe way. His reaction and face expression is what makes this funny. After the reading voice stopped, Levy said "umm, I can neither confirm nor deny these allegations" Thats just one example I could think of that made me laugh and there are tons of them more. Humour is subjective so someone might not find him funny and thats completely okay.
