i guess chessbase have some article covered well by our kasparov and many other gm . how r they ?
I would guess that they are similar to New in Chess, but it is possible to buy a single issue without subscribing and see for yourself. At least some chessbase stuff is available online.

I just got an issue of NIC from Amazon. This is the first time I bought a chess magazine. A very beautiful magazine. Quite readable. Annotations are often beyond me now, though.
The link in #4 is to samples from the book of samples.

i bought 5 e-books actually and they work just fine for me. Are you trying to view it on your PC? if so, you should visit this page and sign in (top right). then look for the book you bought and click on it. you should be able to view it.
