Chess.com takes cheating really seriously.
There is a whole forum that has been created to discuss cheating. General chess discussion is not the place.
I always do my homework on someone before I report them and the account is new so it shouldn't take long to see if he's done this before but come on, 21 engine moves in a 21 move 3 minute game lol. Kinda obvious.
lol I love the fact the your opponent used 4-10 seconds for each and every move, except an obvious premove.
And this thread will be locked soon...
they will check for obvious pattern and maybe double check and then it's a matter of ...
But I wouldn't always bet on a diff of 150 points, some dudes do roller coaster here

I did look first but didn't see anything remotely similar to a 'whole forum'. Besides, I'm not discussing cheating, I'm discussing how long it takes to ban a cheater.
That is one sweet chessboard you're sitting in front of, Silverknight
Thanks. It belongs to a friend of mine's mother. She collects antiques

If they create "Trolling forum" you will post just there?
Well I reported that guy now I'm playing the waiting game too. Best advice I can give you OP is drag the game out as long as you can. I know they send a confirmation email when you file a ticket. Did you get that email? If not a glitch may have caused your ticket to not be received or something.
I got the email on Saturday. Maybe I'm just impatient, haha. I guess I will drag it out as long as I can until a decision is made.

So, I'm playing a daily game, where my opponent is playing unusually strong moves, esp for someone [identifying information removed - MOD]. I looked at his game archive and saw [identifying information removed - MOD] (and this guy is [identifying information removed - MOD]. I plugged that game and a few others of his into Stockfish and it was completely identical for the entire game.
Long story short, I reported him over the weekend, but now I am wondering (since we still have a game in progress) how long the process of investigating takes? I know once the game is over, there is no changing the points, but I am hoping he will get his account closed before it i over. Anyone with experience on the time-frame to expect? Thanks!
