Here is a silly queen hunt which ended with 11 checks. Could be my record.
Actually, I maybe wrong but I only count 9 non-stop check from move 32, including checkmate. ;)
Hi, no they don't have to be consecutive, in my silly game you can see there are unnecessary checks but they were honest none the less - gaining material and improving position. There was even a mate prior to the final mate. The game was serious however and played fairly regarding rules.
It got me wondering about the most checks in a game ~ which led me to asking others about their experience with it. I rarely go on queen hunts and really only wanted the queen this game. It reminded me of my childhood days.
