How many chess games have you played?

Interesting question. I'm taking this to mean all games, including internet, OTB blitz and OTB serious.
30,000 on chess.com
I've played chess for 24 years. I'd very roughly guess that an average week contains one competitive OTB game, and 5 friendly OTB games. Let's say 300/year.
300 x 24 = 7200. I'm going to knock that up to 10,000, because some weeks contain considerably more than this, e.g. if I am playing in a tournament, do a late-night blitz session, etc.
So my guesstimate is 40,000.

- About 50-100 online blitz games in 2001 with probably 20 games as kid and total beginner over the board vs other kids and familly..
- Maybe 500 blitz online games in 2007. Some games otb in school and several otb at a club i went once or twice. 50+ games or so vs chessmaster PC game.
- In 2013 probably i had total of around 1000-1200 quick chess games with several over the board games over the years.
- In 2014 i started to play 1 min games a lot - maybe around 1500-2000 or little more. So totall about 3 000 games at least.
In 2015 after i saw i am better than average player almost without studying much i started to play more and to study. Playing blitz probably + 1000 games. Rapid around 500 games. But i continued bullet even more so maybe around +2 000 bullet games - total 6500-7000 games in my life.
- 2016 Lets make it 7 500-8000+ totall including some games i did not count in previous years (double accounts, some unheard chess servers etc. or 30 seconds games) . But not above 10k. Also i spent many hours of watching thousands of chess videos in past years.

People that constantly play speed chess easily over a million I would think. Nakamura probably about a billion.

He was asked how much games he thinks he played in h is whole life and they expected him to reply 1 million but he said if i am not wrong around 100 000 games only. So players here who want to improve and have rating around or below 1500 with 15 000-25 000 or even more games, they are doing something wrong and are wasting a lot of time (Or they lower their rating in porpose so they want to play low rated and beat them, i saw many players do this - sandbaggers). In one other site i saw many, many accounts with solid blitz games of around 40 000-70 000 (they were playing from 2007 there up to now) and still have rating of round 1400-1600)... even if they play only for fun they should be higher rated by now almost 10 years and they still a patzers lol..
~31000 games on chesscube (not counting unrated games).
~8700 games on chess.com.
Plus some dozens of games everywhere else.
Around 40 - 41000 total.

out of which 24000+ are bullet? do you think bullet helps you improve?just asking for your opinion.
currently I think that it is waste of time.. when I play it for sometime and then switch to standard, I cannot play normally. and my games go really bad after that.
like around 13,457
and you are still rated 900? Bravo we got a badass here.
It must be awful to play that much and still be awful.

I am about twelve this year and i have roughly played about a million games online and with my friends altogether

It is a waste for many people, becouse they are bad at it, and an improvment tool for others like me. Without bullet i wont be here right now or at that level. Play more to find out for yourself. They guy above with 24k bullet games, he already had 1900 fide when he started his bullet games here.

123 OTB games. Much more online, though I don't really count those ones. To me, online chess is a practice round before the real thing.
I just wonder hos much games approximely you have player in tour entire life. I think i have played around 4000-5000 in a span of 7 Years. I'm 14 and started att age 7.
