How many rated puzzles per day?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is an explanation to why some people get more rated puzzles per day than others.

I get 6 per day, while my friend gets only 3.

Members with no membership gets only 3 puzzles per day. Members with gold  membership, gets 25 per day. Members with platinum or diamond membership, gets unlimited puzzles. It is the first time I heard of 6 puzzles per day. 

Older basic accouns got 5 a day. Also, if you get a pending puzzle, it won't count against the daily total; that's why you got 6 today.

I love the puzzles, I have waiting time at work where I hafta only half pay attention, I sit doodling the puzzles ;-D

um it says in the membership store that gold gets unlimited puzzles also changing from 5 to 3 a day is just to try to get more ad revenue
