Chess.com earns 42 billions in one day because they have the premium membership . Think the whole world is playing at chess.com and Upgrading each sec so how much money chess.com earns in a day!

The site boasts having over 96 million members world-wide, but we need to know how many are paying anythng for a membership. If 45 million are paying, that's at least $270 million per month averaging $ 6.00 per paying-member per month ..... or is it Euros? or Yen? or Rubbles? Yearly, that's at least $3.2 billion. The membership rates are way too expensive for my pocketbook.

A lot. Millions from direct revenue and ads, and billions from investors who see the value in data. They just bought Magnus for $80 million, see the news, and have many employees. And they have regular tournaments including the yearly CGC for $1 million in prizes.

Every mouse movement, every keyboard press, every tap on your screen, every page you visit and for how long, is recorded by them, as well as how they correspond to every move you make. This is well documented in the Hans Niemann report for their anti-cheat. Tracking cookies cross reference your tabbing to different sites, bypassing VPNs, etc.

Every word you post anywhere on the site is recorded and saved to a permanent database, even if you delete it or your account. Even if you request GDPR or CCPA deletion, it is stored FOREVER AND EVER in some processed form somewhere.

All of this is kept forever for current and later processing with machine learning/AI. The value of this is where the big money comes from. This data is "anonymized" packaged and transferred all over the place in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
