I'm not much higher than you, but I can beat the 900s pretty consistently if I pay attention. The advice I've been following at our level is to only think about two things for now:
- Follow opening principles (develop your pieces, fight for the center)
- Don't hang your pieces or miss it when the opponent hangs theirs.
Looking at your most recent loss to Tina Tempo, you did great in the opening, and it's only #2 that killed you. So maybe try to explicitly look at all your pieces and theirs before each move, checking whether they are attacked and/or defended.
Im relatively new to Chess, and practicing here against the Bot on 900 - I just cannot win. Whatever Opening I use it always has the answer to combat it. Just after some advice really on how to improve, it`s getting frustrating as I feel i`ve tried everything I can and 900 isn`t even a very good level
