How to copy a png field from a game played on a DGT chess board

I am having trouble finding a way to upload a game i played OTB off my DGT chess board. I have software that recorded all the moves from the game and saved it to my computer as a png. I do note know how to open it so that I can then copy and paste it into the chess.com analysis. Is there some software that can open it so that i can then copy and paste it? I really need help i just spend 300$ and cant analyze my games that i play with my grandfather.

Yes. Pgn files are just text files and any word or other document program should be able to open them. Microsoft always had a program called notepad that was useful for that.

They are quite simple. Just a bunch of attributes of the game ( where and when it was played, who played, etc.) and then the move list.

Png files, however, are image files and shouldn't be confused with pgn's.

I pasted it into the analysis and nothing happened am I missing a step?

No. It looks like there was a mistake in transcribing the moves.

Move 15 should have been 15. bxa5 instead of Bxa5.  Computers are literal.

There seems to be a bug with the DGT RabbitQueen software. In some cases what should be a lowercase "b" appears as "B" in the pgn. Below is an example from my board  - see the red text. The first example is blatantly wrong, the last two were like the OP's situation where the PGN says Bishop captured but it was instead the b pawn.

I have raised this with DGT support but I am not holding my breath as I can see the last release of RabbitQueen was in 2015 (v1.5.6). Bit frustrating.

I am having the same issue; this smart board is a paperweight if it can’t do simple pgn exports.  I’m so frustrated, I just got my new board and I can’t even do the simplest of games and get a correct file.  As you stated it’s the “b” file that causes issues and it’s a shame dgt doesn’t care to fix this.  

DGT support got back to me. RabbitQueen is no longer supported and you can use DGT Livechess to retrieve the pgns. If you are playing with DGT board on chess.com then you already have Livechess. If you notice that sometimes you don't see your games in Livechess, do note that the games only get saved once pieces are put back to their starting positions (this signals the end of the previous game apparently). This worked for me.
