Indeed Bishop in V3 they made lots of changes and you can put video files directly in the forums without going through all the steps in V2. V2 will not be here much longer ??
What video editor do you usually use to do that? I'm still looking for a decent one that will be compatible with my computer since it's pretty old.
If you're on Windows, the freeware everyone uses for screen capture is OBS Studio, which is totally free, as in Linux free.
Set your fps (frames per second) to 30. Try a resolution of 2000 kbps for the video and 320 for the audio.
If you want to talk along with what you're doing, you need a microphone. Your best bet is probably a pair of headphones with a mic on it. Turn off any noise in the background, like a fan.
You can encode the raw video into an MP4 in XMedia Recode. Also totally free. You can do any work you need to do on the Filters tab.
YouTube prefers MP4s at 30 fps and a high bitrate. Also, stay within the boxes of 1920x1080 or 1280x720, meaning if you have just the board itself, create a square video of 1080x1080. Don't add in a background yourself if it's not the full 16 by 9 ratio. Just make it fit to one of the borders.
