You could always play openings from Online Chess, then you need not worry about the opponent being offline.

I'm finding it hard to find more players to practice matches with. I have 2 dedicated partners already, but always looking for more when they're offline. I could always just keep matchmaking, but sometimes its good to ask them to play a certain opening, or be able to analyze afterwards.
Anyone suggest groups to join? It's even harder to send friend requests after a game, because someone inevitably lost, so most of the time only people that have beaten me will accept, the people that lost will just leave.
