That's an interesting question. There should be something in the rules to give you some relief. Hang in there kangy. I hope somebody with a better understanding of the rules chimes in.
how to force a draw
You are counting your moves too early because a pawn was moved on move #80. The draw rule that you are referring to is as follows:
Fifty consecutive moves have been played where neither player has moved a pawn or captured a piece.

The are the five only ways to draw:
Draws
Occasionally chess games do not end with a winner, but with a draw. There are 5 reasons why a chess game may end in a draw:
- The position reaches a stalemate where it is one player’s turn to move, but his king is NOT in check and yet he does not have another legal move
- The players may simply agree to a draw and stop playing
- There are not enough pieces on the board to force a checkmate (example: a king and a bishop vs.a king)
- A player declares a draw if the same exact position is repeated three times (though not necessarily three times in a row)
- Fifty consecutive moves have been played where neither player has moved a pawn or captured a piece.
While your game looks like a complete draw to me, further pawn moves look possible even with continous checking. So it looks like you could be playing that game for a long time.
Also, the draw rules can be found here: http://www.chess.com/learn-how-to-play-chess#special

Thanks for the help, as one guy mentioned I could be going for some time now, I do relise that I have to be extra carful that I can not alow him to move a pawn under any time.
hmm I miss counted, sorry bout that, I thought I had sone fity moves from the last pawn move, no wooories 21 moves to go :) unless I stuff up and let him move pawn :(

That's not enough material to force a checkmate, but it is still possible to checkmate the opponent if he's not careful.

if there is possibility of checkmating, then draw isnot forced.

as far as i know if you have one bishop and your opponent has one pawn,it is still not a forced draw by insufficient material since there is still possibility of checkmating him.

If you have a bishop and your opponent has a pawn, it's obviouslypossible that he could queen a pawn and mate you!
... or promote to a rook if s/he's a masochist!
I've been playing chess many years now, and I still don't know the rules, it seems. I always thought 50 moves without capture was an automatic draw, with or without pawn moves. Did they change the rule at some stage or have I been playing in ignorance all my life?
Korchnoi famously had to consult whether he could castle across a square controlled by his opponent's piece, if I recall correctly.

I can understand he wants to trade queens and then promote with either pawn.....I do understand he refuses to draw here..., but perhaps you can keep checking and claim a draw, yes....

We honestly should not be giving advice for an ongoing game. Even just informing him why he couldn't claim the draw yet seems wrong.

what i m saying is the guy with bishop isnot satisfied with draw not guy with pawn, let s say in this position guy with pawn runs out of time, the guy with bishop is winner since he has possibility of checkmating the guy with pawn.

thanks for all the helpfull comments, I think he is hoping to be able to trade queens, but that is not to my advantage :) and I wll not do a move that will alow that

As far a chess etiquette goes, say I'm getting my butt whipped but have found an anomaly in the game where i can continue to force a check by going back and forth repeating the same move. Is this bush league or am i within my right to force my opponent to make a less than desired move to break up the checking loop? hope that makes sense.

It isn't an anomaly and is part of chess. If you can cause a triple repetition of position, or keep the checking and have no pawn moves or any captures for 50 moves, you will get a draw. Or, if the other player has the option to give up material to stop it, they can choose to go that route.
I am playing a guy who refuses all my draw offers, he had 2 pawns I none and both of us queens the game is http://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=65089228
I believe he can not stop me checking him, I am told that after 50 moves a stalemate can be forced, how do I do that, I have been checking from move 51 it is now move 109, this guy obviously has no manners to put it nicely.
Whenever I press the draw offer button that is the only option there is nothing to force the draw.
Thanks for any hep
