how to get a job on chess.com

Landing a job there would be a dream come true for any chess fanatic.
The advice to keep an eye on the careers page makes perfect sense. But some chess websites I frequent mention that chess.com sometimes reaches out directly – like finding a hidden gem!
While I sharpen my chess skills, I was wondering if there are other chess-related jobs out there. Maybe in content creation, marketing, or even event management for tournaments? It feels like there's a whole chess world to explore behind the scenes.
For those who work in the chess industry (even if not at Chess.com), how did you get your foot in the door? Did your chess skills come in handy, or was other experience more important?
On a side note, if anyone here is looking for a career change, South Florida International College offers paralegal program – just throwing that out there in case chess law is your ultimate endgame!
