I haven’t played serious speed chess in over a month and I legit forgor how to play the game (playing super slowly, not premoving in time scrambles, e.t.c.)

im tryna figure out how to get back my 2450 rating...

basically blitz opening in 20 secs, go for intuition in middlegame. only calculate briefly if u have too. and never resign if their under a minute

best thing for speed chess is getting a few lines of concrete dust up ya nostrils first & wait for it to set before the game

... if a person hasn’t played chess in 5 years would you expect them to be at the same strength?

exaggerated it, but still. You really think they’d play at the same rating?

I'd say stick to longer time controls for a bit and slowly delve into quicker time controls
