Hi there! In my humble opinion, taking at least a week off from games can't hurt . You'll get your form back before long... Consider watching some online chess videos; the chess.com one's are solid and so are the St. Louis Chess Club Lectures with GM Seirawan, Finegold, Ashley, etc. if you spend some time watching those vids and chilling out, I'm confident that will do the trick. :)
How to stop this slump

I think that's a good idea. Also, doing a lot of exercise meanwhile will refresh your mind (maybe you are doing it already, but just in case).

I've often found time away from playing helpful when not doing well (even worse than normal in my case!) to be useful. Something else that I've personally found beneficial is playing some OTB games with a couple of friends to be helpful, playing without the competitive element to the game and enjoying the game for what it is.

I don't think it's a slump - I think you'll lose another 7 in a row which will reveal your True rating of about 1134. (Joke!!!)
In past three weeks my ratings on Fide Arena has slumped from 1700 to 1350. I am totally dumbfounded on how to stop this slump. I am leaving my pieces hanging, can't seem to formulate plans, missing calculations.... every part of my games seems to be suffering.
Have you guys experience similar slump? Any idea how to stop this slump?
I am thinking abt :
1. totally cut off from chess for atleast 2 weeks or
2. stop playing chess but study chess for couple of weeks.
Please suggest any other idea I am open to listen all but want to get out of this slump.
