How do I turn off the stupid emoji icon chat?

turn off the chat or just the emojis within that chat?

Disabling the chat easily you can do by cliking onto Disable chat.

When I updated the app I stopped receiving emojis even when chat was turned off.

The emoji chat during games. We have chat disabled, but people can still send emotes during games.

This is so stupid, how can I disable everything involving the chat. I always loose when they post their god damn crying faces and kissing emojis even though I already have chat disabled  Lol

I would also want to disable it. Playing a longer game, they sent me bored faces, when I'm thinking on a move.

Use adblock plus extension, you can select and block any annoying elements on any page.

try this following     if any of this does not work click on the help button in the bottom left of chess.com:

1. close the chat by clicking Disable chat 

2. if you just want to win the game send some emojis to them to in this page:

https://www.chess.com/puzzles                        if needed

This is seriously so annoying. I want chat enabled so i can quip with my friends, and i DONT want useless quick chat choices jumping up front. Give me the choice to disable quickchat. The default emoji chat window always opens first on mobile with the idiotic quick chat options right where my thumbs are. The amount of times ive accidentally sent GOOD GAME when i just wanted to say hi or chirp my buddy is so frustrating. Im not that lazy, i can manage typing "hi" on my own.
