Ok, interesting...
Anyone have any thoughts on my original question?
Yeah I could use some tips on its features too. I just downloaded it and it has so many features I don't even know where to begin.
@DC-Jacket, nobody cares about your shoes. Please stop spamming them across the forums.
I know about the basic Houdini tools - Blundercheck, Kibitzer. I also know you can play games against Houdini. But there are many many features in Houdini, and I just want to know what are some that people have found particularly helpful.
step 1. read my steps
step 2. get her drunk
step 3. grab a friend

step 5. do.... ( i dont know, use your imagination ;) )

step 7. watch her reaction to your houdini
I got Houdini, the chess software. What are some of its cool features that I should be aware of?
When you switch it on, it switches your mind off. Very relaxing.
As you can kind of tell, most of us are not big fans of computer analysis even though we all recognize it as a necessary evil. As to your question, you'll probably get a better response if you tell us what GUI it's bundled with. An engine without an interface is like a motor without a car. Not that I'll be able to help you of course. I only talk the talk...

That's kind of that. Any analysis of your games should be performed by hand before firing the computer, the only use of which being to catch tactical mistakes you overlooked at analysis.
Now, what kind of features would you expect apart from position/game analysis ? It's a chess software, not a coffee machine. (DISCLAIMER : I have never bought any such software nor operated one for two years, so maybe there's a world of possibles I am unaware of).

Maybe in calculation but what about trying to understand its suggestions? A move may seem silly but you'll have to visualize the end of the line to really appreciate what it accomplishes.
Who's being rude? I have an iMac, I can't run Houdini. Houdini's a Windows program...
Besides that was just a joke...
