Ok, so I downloaded the code for stockfish from github. How do I use it actually to analyze my games or something?

acceptablecheddar

Can someone answer?

Unless you're going to compile the source code yourself, you need to download the executable from here: https://stockfishchess.org/download/

Then install it into a Chess GUI.

I know of Stockfish and I know it is used on many sites, including this one. I'm not very technically inclined, but wouldn't there be a pdf manual either on the site you downloaded it from, or elsewhere on the internet?

I don't know what it's called, but I'd love to get the software that GM Yasser Seirawan uses when doing the Saint Louis Chess Club videos on You Tube. He can go back and forth between different positions so easily, I'd love to be able to do that.

Not 3 hundred more like 200 lol

sndeww
