I CAN'T CASTLE

anyone else having trouble castling all of sudden?

A recent change was made. You can no longer castle by clicking the king and then the rook for standard chess.

So how did I do it then bcos sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I play bullet games mainly so its hindering

Click the square you want your king to castle to

Move the king two squares towards the rook.

if you just click the king two squares to the left or the right, whichever side you want to castle, it should work. There was an update a couple days ago so that would be the reason you're having trouble all of a sudden

Make sure you weren't trying to castle into or through check.

are you in check did your king or rook move beforehand?

thanks guys, I think I've gotten it to work now

A change was made recently. To castle, you must now move your king two squares towards the rook you want to castle / drag it on top. Clicking the king, then the rook won't work.

The issue was resolved more than a month ago (see post number 12). Then it was resurrected by a notorious spammer for no reason.
