I hate my opponents (sometimes)
With metaphors like that coming naturally, to you, try writing short stories or poems or something.
Seriously. From a writer. I'm not joking.

hmm, thanks. Maybe I'll give it a shot. What type of material do you write?

I completly agree with you.
I'm only 19 years old but I have many experience to see what kind of mentality some chess players have.
Even in the real life, there are many players who are not honest players: young players, old players, middle experience, etc. all kind of players ... Some are really cheaters, some doesn't respect their opponents, some strongest players play ridiculous openings against weaker player and this is luck of respect.
Here on chess.com, there are many players who don't play in real clubs or in real life.
So they don't know the rules of respect but I reach a level who 90% of my opponents are real clubs players so I think disrespect is lower level but I understand you clearly.
And I think people look too much to the Fide/Elo Rating of the opponent.
For example: Oh, you are only 1200 so you are weak, bad and you have nothing to say to me ...
This kind of fuc**** and arrogant mentality is very often to find by young players AND over 2000+.
The chess game should be a respectfull game but it is not the case.

I want to say thank you for not wasting my time.
Just reading that was enough for me to know that you are full of shit and that reading the rest of your post would be a complete waste of time because you are a Troll or just dumb.
Good luck!

Just reading that was enough for me to know that you are full of [FUN!]
Good luck!
I'm terribly sorry you dislike my analogy

I have definitely found more respectful and friendly players at my local chess club. It's nice to play people who don't play with their ego.

if winning at chess is a goal then take time to understand what losing at chess can teach any player
id go so far as to say every chess player has lost , to never be beaten well thats not human
so if you lose work out why , then draws and wins get easier to acheive as you learn from the many mistakes that litter a chessboard

Yeah sorry but I am not in the mood to read a long troll post about nonsense.

Ignore him. He's lacking in things to insult. Eventually staff will mute him.
Mute me for what? For saying that a Dumb troll post is a dumb troll post? LOL

another tip , useful in timed games , dont spend your time thinking "they are using an inferior opening against ME to belittle ME , use that time to think about the board

He really wrote that he thinks an opponent is using certain opening to belittle him?
Oh dear, I am even more glad that I didn't read that garbage.

Quoting my post and then editing it? Is that seriously the brightest thing you could think of?
If you have at least a bit of dignity and self respect ask a mod to delete this thread for you.

I think you misunderstand a bit. I'm not mad that they dare insult me or something, I just think anyone who cares enough to even do that is either petty or immature.

I dont know what your problem is with my post but your loud mouth is irritating. I've blocked you, hopefully I won't be able to see anymore of your stupid comments.
To begin with, the cut throat mentality of the people who play online chess blows my mind. With no other incentive than a few imaginary points people reveal the shallowest aspects of their personalities.
How many more troll notes will I have to delete from my profile? How many more people are going to run down their clock in a lost position? How many more higher rated people will mockingly play inferior openings in order to belittle me, or insult my skill after a game? We've all experienced the way many people act here.
I am a sore loser when it comes to chess. Mostly I hate losing to those petty characters who think so highly of themselves and so low of others for something as superficial as a game of chess. The internet makes it easy for people to show their true colors.
What bothers me more than anything is that out in the real world those same types of people act in the same petty ways, but over things that Actually matter. For that reason, when a player does something completely unkind just for a few rating points I can't imagine what they would say or do to a person IRL for a reward with concrete worth. Sure, who cares that an opponent called me bad or wrote mean things on my profile, but it's difficult not to feel anger and repulsion towards those who could honestly care less about other people. And losing to that person is the worst.
