I love this game but I'm pathetic at it

Hey guys, I've been playing chess, on and off for a few years. And I honestly make the dumbest mistakes imaginable, just review this game https://www.chess.com/game/live/63762005583 but you'll get second hand embarrassment. No matter how hard I analyze I make the most brain-dead blunders and give away leads or advantages. Does someone get better studying and repetitive playing or am I just naturally stupid?

I always feel confident when making moves. I'll move while simultaneously being aware of where my opponent's pieces are in relation to mine, but obviously I dont use my head because I'll leave a major piece hanging. I could play the normal games but usually I'll just forget those games and time runs out
