I played a cheater with a premium account who stoped cheating and wasn't banned

I played a cheater some months ago (99% sure). He played 98% accuracy in a 40 moves game in an opening variation he never played before online. Other games of him around this time area looked similar.

Now I checked his account recently and he dropped from 1900 back to 1500. I interpret it that he was warned and stopped cheating.

Why did he get likely a second chance? Because of a diamond membership account?

I want this piece of **** banned

It happens, maybe we can see the positive in this whole thing that he stopped cheating.

Also since it was that long ago you won’t get elo back if he gets banned.

Soon I guess this thread will get closed because of the "C" word so get one in probably last chance, I am not one-to-one pass judgement either way as tiptoe needed, I would say that the opening part of any game cannot be judged as using assistance I myself having been playing 43 years can play pretty much any opening at fairly high accuracy this comes with experience and where I likely do drop a clanger now and again is in the midst of middle game complications, I would think this is the area Chess.vom monitor before passing there judgements!!?

Hm i wonder which mod will close this possibly Justbefair but I think martin is on around this time if I remember so my guess is martin will lock it. (Current score is 0/0)

Nah, Justbefair will swoop in and close it.

If you reported the member and they were not closed then that generally means that there wasn't sufficient evidence of cheating or there was no evidence of it. Premium status has no bearing on whether or not an account gets closed; if the site determines there was cheating, the account gets closed, that includes premium and titled members.
