perhaps you're not, or perhaps you are, i didn't even bother to read through this quite frankly.
I think I LITERALLY AM STUPID

What time controls do you like to use? Maybe you should consider longer ones.

Me neither, but I read your entire reply!

It is a VERY common type of post.

I was going to say the same thing. :)
honestly I just wish there was a way where I could just stop making blunders permanently because it affects my play greatly
No kidding. If you stopped making "foolish blunders" (as you put it) permanently, then your rating would jump a minimum of 300 points.
This is something you have to work at fixing. Chess isn't about being smart, it's about practice. Practice good analysis habits during a game (and when solving puzzles). Find the best move you possibly can. Work for zero blunders at all times. If you work, and sweat, and agonize, and then work some more over whether your intended move is a blunder, then you'll improve. When you play a blunder anyway... good! That position is an important lesson that will make you better.
When you play fast and have feelings like "I know this move isn't great, but I'm tired of looking so I'll just play it and see what happens" and that move happens to be a blunder, then the position is nearly worthless for your improvement. All you can tell yourself is "try harder next time." Even worse, you're practicing bad habits and making them harder to break.
Play long time controls. Work hard to find your best moves. Don't guess when you "solve" tactical puzzles. Find the best solution you can find. Pretend it's the last game, $10,000 prize on the line, if you find the right move, you win. If you're sure you can't find the solution, don't guess, put your pride into it, find out as best you can why the move you're going to guess is wrong (sometimes this leads to the correct move by process of elimination anyway ;).
If it were easy, everyone who'd been playing a few years would be stronger than 1600s are today.

Didn't read all of that. Am guessing you said pretty much the same thing in each paragraph? [edit: was likely drunk, making a light-hearted joke, no offense. I have no problem with people expressing their opinions at whatever length they feel necessary]

why write a posting stating you couldnt be bothered to read a previous post then enquire about its content ?
very retarded.
I forgot kids need a tl;dr version when > 5 sentences.
Here's a comic strip with no words to look at instead.
Try not to be too preoccupied with your errors - this can and does make things worse. Concentration and careful checking before you move are needed.

Mate, you're not alone, I think the same. I firmly believe it's the alcohol and drugs throughout my life that have seriously dumbed me down.

The OP plays next to no games longer than 15mins looking at his game sheet And thats the problem to be honest.

I could not care less what they were saying, and content itself, just referencing the likely repetitive nature of it.

Thanks
I am not analyzing the board enough and I am slipping away my games due to foolish blunders, and i can't understand why so im guessing that in general i am just stupid to comprehend the complex game of chess itself. And honestly I have been playing chess for 3 years now, and u think it would be safe to say that I am a good player when in fact i am just a terrible player because of stupid and idiotic blunders that I am making. I Even analyze all of my games to see the blunders I make, and I make some really obvious blunders honestly I just wish there was a way where I could just stop making blunders permanently because it affects my play greatly and I am not improving whatsoever.
