I tried to use chesscom Game Review again.

I cancelled my diamond subscription after the new game review update and haven’t really played much. I mostly play on mobile. I tried to play again and clicked the game review after. It is still terrible. Unusable. It looks horrible. There is no easy way to navigate the game to a key position that I was interested in, I have to repeatedly click the forward arrow to reach it. It looks terrible. It looks designed for a children’s game or for an old person with terrible eyesight. I wish I could get a refund on my remaining months but I purchased it through the Apple Store. Anyone considering a membership should avoid the Apple Store. I’d be surprised if chesscom gave a refund anyway. They willingly paid someone to ruin the game review and my chesscom experience with it. I hope they have a way to see how often game review is used and compare it to how often it was used before the update. They surely have no plans of fixing it considering how long it’s been this way.

I use the Game Review all the time and it is not hard at all to switch back and forth between the Review and the Analysis page.

I often look at other members' games and have no trouble using it to find critical moves.

I used the graph of the evaluations to spot the above game-losing blunder. I didn't have to go clicking move by move. I just clicked on the little red spot on the graph and it took me to the above.

I don't use the mobile apps. I used to have the Android app but I uninstalled it on my phone because the app kept opening when I wanted to stay on the website. My point it that you might give the website a try.

At any rate, several of the threads related to the Game Review were directly responded to by a staff member last May to July. He said that they took notice of the suggestions being made and had made a number of changes. (https://www.chess.com/forum/view/site-feedback/new-review-presentation-is-awfull?page=12#last_comment )

And the changes were directly addressed by Danny Rensch in the last State of Chess.com update broadcast in August. There should be another one soon.

I don't know what if any changes were made to the Game Review on the apps. As I understand it, the apps and the website are separately managed and programmed by separate teams. There are often changes made on one app and not the other.

Chesscom ruins a great feature on the mobile app that I used every day and the solution is to stop using the app and use the website in my browser? ok...

All I suggested was for you to take a look at the website.

You can also spin the move list wheel on mobile to get to a spot more quickly!

At first, I thought the new game review looked like trash, and that it sucks, but now I am starting to get used to it a lot more, and it doesn't look that bad now
