6 losses in a row and still counting !! My ELO went from 940 to 890 !!

Since yesterday i never win one single game !! this is really bad , it never happened to me since i started chess !! i am very stressed out !!

Working so hard ! solving puzzels .. beating intermediate bots .. doubling my hard work to reach a new record level .. but results from worse to bullshit !!!!!

Starting good openings , taking advantage from beginning +3 (capturing kinght's opponent) to +6 (capturing knight and bishop) to losing my knight +3 .. my bishop 0 .. my rook -5 to successive blunders -10 to fucking disaster at the end .. CHECKMATE !!

I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE !! WHY AND WHY AND WHY ? I F***ING DON'T WHY THIS HAPPENING TO ME SINCE YESTERDAY !!

CHANGING OPPENINGS ! NOTHING CHANGED ! JUST LOSS TO LOSS ! I REALLY NEED HELP

You can watch my last 6 games ! It all started well and ended DISASTROUSLY !

I REALLY HATED THIS SHIT !

I might really consider ending my life with chess if this shit continues with me and things get worse.. because then I see myself wasting my time !

Unfortunately, your comment doesn't make sense cause i'm looking for help not for useless sentences wink

you are way over reacting. sometimes I lose six games before breakfast. I looked at your last 5 games and every loss had to deal with something well past the opening. keep doing puzzles, really start studying endgames, and stop taking things personally. when you learn new ideas in chess sometimes it takes your brain some time to process it before you see results in actual play.

I'm sorry to hear about your losses. Losing 50 rating points is not fun at all, but I assure you it is common and you aren't alone. Luckily for you, I just made a YouTube video a few hours ago on how to prevent losing so much rating (like losing 6 games in a row). I really hope this video helps you turn things around for the better happy.png

Happens to everybody, I feel like I've had streaks where I've lost like 12+ in a row. Maybe take a break from playing and do puzzles or study for a bit and then come back and try again

So don't compete directly in real time games. Play correspondence Chess, join vote Chess on this site or teach Chess to kids/beginners. Also, help run a local club. This way you keep your hand in it with less frustration. Also, find other hobbies to do.

Everyone has flaws, but most don’t complain to a bunch of strangers about it. You may choose to take this advice or not, but what you can do try to find out what the major flaws in your games are, and then you can learn how to fix them so you play better in the future.

I promise you should keep playing. I got back from a vacation and my ELO dropped from 1000 to 700, but I was able to get it up again even higher than it was before.

Get over it.

Let's avoid discussion of cheating in the public forums as this is against the rules of chess.com (you can freely discuss cheating in this club though: https://www.chess.com/club/cheating-forum ). 90% is absurdly high. Cheating sadly does occasionally happen (everyone with anything, not just online chess), but it is very rare and chess.com will usually refund your lost rating points if they catch a cheater. Again, keep those discussions in that club though. happy.png

I think You need to play it more to keep your tone. I experienced it many times so I think you need time to get back to your performance

GO DO SOMETHING ELSE. Continuing to play is going to make that blunderitis 10x worse. Preferably lift some heavy weights or go running to take your mind off things

After every game go through the game review, win or lose. It will help you to identify your blind spots. The good moves you've been missing and the bad moves you make without thinking.

My bullet opponents rated 1200 to 1300 play at 85% accuracy every game can't imagine what accuracy they play at 1800

HistorycznyUpadekJaponii

You have never experienced the pain of losing >200 points in two days (unlike me), so calm down and understand losing 50 points in two days happens.

Obviously a lot higher in quality of play, but at this rating they are probably only getting maybe 80%-95% accuracy. This statistic is misinterpreted by many. The game report "accuracy" is called CAPS (Computer Aggregated Percentage Score) and was meant to be more like a personal report card on how you played in that game more than it is about playing super close to 100% accuracy at the higher levels. True that on average, titled players play with a higher accuracy than most chess players, but I've seen many tactical masterpieces from players like Kasparov or Tal which score accuracy in like the 60% range just because their choices don't align with the computer's recommendations.

I quit a few weeks ago. I had a long, painful tilt. It feels like I didn’t even improve from when I started until now, despite learning tons of openings, practicing tactics and endgames, and even touching the topic of positional chess and creating a plan. I’m no better now than I was 8 months ago, the time where I supposedly played like a newborn. 6 games seems a little bit low for me. Play more.

I tried everything everyone gave me. Improve my tactics, improve my plans, improve my calculations, but nothing changed. I think it was just a lack of playing. Play a few more games and decide where you want to be. If you keep losing to the point where you can’t even just float around 850, take a break.

It’s frustrating. I understand. For me, at least, chess never seems to bring more fun than anger and frustration. But, here’s the difference between us- you improved. Going from 700 all the way to 900 isn’t something to laugh about. Maybe you got a little stuck. If you play more games and keep losing badly, as I said, take a break, and see if you want to come back. If you start off more confident, then continue. If you keep losing over and over again despite this break, maybe do quit.

Also, to all the rude comments, shut your mouth. Your opinion is of the importance of a spare chair leg
