Play me
I’m 1000 on chess. Com and 1590 on lichess is that sandbagging?

So I have played on chess.com for 2 years and 8 months on lichess but I’m 1600 there and 1000 here I just want to know if that is sandbagging but I can play at both levels and beat people rated 600 more then me, I just want to know if I am breaking any rules
No. Lichess ratings are simply different because they start wverybody at 1500 while at chess.com, people can start off at 400, 800, 1200 or 1600.

If your on another site like lichess that gives like 50 points each game that is not something to be concerned about

I was 2200 on lichess for a long time and I was 1900 here (on my main account, not this one!) - so yes, lichess has super-inflated ratings.

Totally normal, regardless of the difference in scores on the platforms, it does not change the most important thing which is to have fun, in short the only difference is the score, we will not be better or worse for changing platforms, we will have the same level, only chess .com is closer to the real score.

I will say I have encountered players here that are rated between 800 to 1200 that are logging games against me were they have 0 mistakes and picking the best move for 95% of the game as well as playing at 90 to 96% accuracy, as well as winning 90% of their total games, which imo is irregular to see at the beginning level of 1,000 eilo imo. At the end of the day does rating matter? Probably not to anyone who is here for fun, friends, and to simply learn. This is me. Though at times when I see all three examples above at once I do get alittle suspicious. I think chess.com players are trained better as a result of the service teaching better chess and the explosion of interest in chess on you tube. The result being people see and set traps better than they ust too.
