My suggestion for complete beginners is they should watch Igor Smirnov's chess videos(on YouTube). They will help reach 1000 elo let alone 300 elo.

Huh. Go to youtube, watch some decent people play, with commentary and explaining... So you get the idea what is chess even about. I am telling you couple of videos and your rating must skyrocket to at least 1000

The best advice for you is to play more rapid. The more you play rapid, the better foundational chess skills you get, and then start playing blitz. Save the chess videos and study for after you get to at least 800. Until then, just consistently playing rapid will help you.

And who is he going to play against, another 200 rated player? Complete waste of time...

I understand you struggle with blitz? Try playing tournaments. Matchmaking is different there, might be more beneficial to you. And also play bullet more to gain some speed. That's apart from learning of course.
