increasing my chess level while decreasing it

hello ! some time ago I have discovered delayed chess games (1,3 or 5 days per move) and thus stopped playing live chess little by little. those kinds of games helped me a lot to improve my understanding of chess play. therefore my level is growing step by step, reaching 1350 for now. but recently I tried to play live chess again, and my level has decreased despite my better understanding. I just can't focus on that way of playing chess anymore. I know our is simply a matter of discipline, I need to practice regularly to remediate to that. but still, if you faced this kind of situation, I'd like you to share your experience with me

Could be the amount of competition got better since you last played. Don't get frustrated. Just keep trying.

I will give you some advice that may be of service to you :)

You must maintain positive thinking at all times, before, during, and after games.

When you lose a game, learn from your mistake.  When you win a game, learn why your opponent lost.

RIght before playing a game, breathe deeply and psychologically prepare yourself:  "I will try my damn hardest to make this guy sweat."  Cool

Happy Holidays!

Obviously ignore that troll advice.

You seem to be in a bad mood.  My post is giving advice to the Original Poster.  I want him to improve :)

I will not address your posts anymore Honky, until you start being nice.

Thanks
