Incurable blunderitis. WHY FOR GODS SAKE

I just can't stop being in poor form and it's been going on for over a week. Taking breaks isn't helping. I was 1083 and tilted all the way to below 1010.

I can do other things just fine such as playing stringed instruments but I am apparently too hopelessly mentally disabled to do basic things like not stick a queen where a rook can get it.

I'm thinking of quitting because chess pisses me off too much.

Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it.
You intend a queen move.
Do not play it, but imagine it played on the board.
Now check it is no blunder: can some rook take it?
Only then play it.
This little mental discipline alone is enough to reach 1500.

I'm doing all the checks but not really seeing stuff.

If you can see it is a blunder after you play it, then you can also see it before you play it.

Thats not much of a drop, I once dropped 200-300 points in a few days

It's just not working. I'm not seeing it afterwards either.
