Im speaking about this for intermediate players to somewhat experts like maybe 1800- IM. I realize Capablanca probably couldnt take on modern day Aronian or Kramnik.
Is Capablanca outdated?

Even if we put aside the advancement of chess in the computer era and all that new development, todays top players are stronger anyways. Because they had to win through a much larger pool of players and have to be better than all those talents that come in masses today. At capablancas time there were around 2 billion people on this planet, today it's over 7. Same with the number of chess players: much more today than than back then.
I understand that its important to study the games of morphy and capablanca and botvinik but...who is outdated? like whos play is probably a bad idea to attempt to immitate because his play is outdated? Im sure Morphy is oudated because although he was a tactical monster his openings just dont lead to advantages anymore and strategist now a day would blow him off the board. Is capablanca outdated? Are there any players of modern day who play like him? Positional openings like the QGD and play strateigcally and have a beast endgame or is he outdated? What about the other old world champions like smyslov, Botvinik, Euwe, ALekhine?
