Checkers would be! As far as i had understood it anyway. Though not always called checkers, just as chess wasnt always know as chess but older forms called it something else.
Is Chess Older than Checkers

Checkers (or Draughts, as it is known this side of the pond). Chess evloved out of the intricate caste systems of various kingdoms of middle antiquity. Checkers would have evolved much earlier. I suspect that simple games involving stones of differing colours would have naturally occured when humans first began to work with tools, perhaps earlier; where checkers specifically got its rules I do not know, but its origins would be deeply ancient.
ED.

Go is one of the oldest games on Earth and it only uses stones. Checkers probably came after Go, but this fact is only my intuition.

As far as Go and Checkers, go has been said to be from 2500 to 4500 years, recently discover documents referring to Go wéiqíi "History of Go"
in China have shown it been played during that time 2500 B.C.
Checkers "Draughts" around 16th century!
Chess in the current format started in the 1500 century in Europe, but we often refer to starting around 450 A.D. In reference to its original variant "chaturanga" which started in India. You can look up more info at Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia as well other places on the Internet.
Which is older: chess or checkers? Just wondering if anybody knew.
