Play the bots and don't worry about your rating right now. You have to learn the game better.

Remember that everyone starts somewhere. Your current rating does not define your potential. Stay confident in your ability to learn and improve.

Don’t play. Practice and read some chess books before you start seriously playing again. However, there is something wrong about bullying people over chess. It’s just a game. There are more important things in life.

Just ignore them it's that simple

MaetsNori

Just tell them, "Congrats on the big chess rating. All that proves is that you're more of a nerd than I am." tongue.png

In all seriousness, though - there's no reason to bully others over chess ratings. Even Magnus Carlsen was a low-rated amateur, at one point. We all have to start somewhere ...

Just remind them... that when they quit playing chess all their games get thrown into the same nameless pile as every other amateur.
