1500 to 2000 is harder because it is easier to have 1000 rating than 1500

You can get from 1000 to 1500 just by reducing the number of blunders you make.
Getting up to 2000 requires a bit more understanding than that.
Question for those who know. Is it harder to go from 1500 to 2000 then it was to go from under 1000 to a 1500 rating?
It is similar to improving from 0 to 20 marks versus 80 marks to 100 marks in an examination.

Nothing is farther from the truth. It depends on the nature of the position.

Also depends on time control. In a long game positional chess is way more important anything else.
