Is it possible to play live club matches through the app, iOS or Android?

Headline says it all.

I’ve  seen a few threads on the subject, but none from 2020, so my question is, is it possible and if so how?
Reason for asking, in Team Live Canada many of us usually play on the app, which is great for blitz and bullet, but when it come to matches for our team we have to use the desktop version in order to get into the team match interface, accept to play, and actually play, or so we think anyways.

Any help in this regards will be highly appreciated, thank you.

Live club matches won't show in the apps.

The app does not work but I use google chrome (Android) and log in normally as in the desktop app. It works fine, it's not 100% fitting like the app, but you can enjoy game really well espicially if you have a tablet which I think you do.

Yeah, I play club events on a mobile browser on my phone and it works pretty well.

Thank you for your answers. And I agree the mobile browser is possible, even, as said, its doesn’t function as seamless during games as the app, but at least it’s a possibility.

I hope they’ll update the app to include team matches at some point.

This thread turned up at the top of google when I searched for the topic. I'd really like to see this feature added to the app. Several members of my club have asked how to do it, assuming it's possible and just not being able to figure out how. It seems like a natural assumption as the app is very full featured ... but ....

  • Is this feature still missing from the mobile app(s)? If so, is it on the roadmap?
  • If it's already there, please tell us how to access it (and indeed club stuff in general).

Pretty sure club created events still don't show in the app, at least on Android. Have no idea if they are on the roadmap for the future.

I don't think it's build into the app, but the app can take you to the website and you can join in as such. Not as nice of a experience as it could be.

I think it's possible to play all of chess.com's team matches on any device that connects to the internet
