Is it spelled Defense or Defence?

I think the American spelling is defense, and the British spelling is defence.
It's spelled defense unless you're one of those pansy, metric system loving Europeans.
We love the metric system because it is much simpler to use than inches, pounds, etc.

"Defense" if you mean the opposite of offense, and "defence" if you're referring to a particular fence.
Examples:
The football team plays good defense.
Defamily on deother side of defence is weird.

It's spelled defense unless you're one of those pansy, metric system loving Europeans.

Gaol*. Btw, archaic English is different, defence and defense are used at the same timeframe.
Edit: I edited the way the quote was displayed, the mobile app is a bit glitchy and messed up the quotation.

I notice in Chess terminology it's always defence.
