Is my jump in rating unprecedented?

Yes, you can review my rating chart from December 6 to now for blitz. Impressive, is the first word that comes to mind.

This happened to me with blitz. I played blitz as a beginner and hovered around 750, then I exclusively played standard for almost year. Then I decided to play some blitz games and got to 1100 in a week or so.

It's probably fair to say no one has gone from 782 to 1075 from Dec. 5th to Jan. 26th in the history of rated chess, though a few have accomplished the feat from Dec. 3rd to Jan. 24th.

Ummm, actually, your rating rise is nothing out of the ordinary.
The difference between 800 and 1100 is the difference between a noob that throws pieces up in the air and a noob that is more consistent and no longer does that sort of thing.
The difference between 2500 and 2700 is massive.

I gained more than 800 points in my first two or three months on this site.
... of course, there's a reason for that. I'm a 2000+ OTB player IRL and the site started me at 1200 rating.

That's great, but showing off on other people's forums is not appreciated. This thread is about me and my accomplishments.

Jumps like that for beginner ratings (which roughly means anything under about 1200) are pretty standard. At higher levels, they're uncommon. At master level, they're very rare.
I had such a jump myself, gaining about 700 points in a year OTB. But of course then it becomes much harder when your rating catches up with your playing strength and you are at a high level where, as I said before, such jumps don't happen much.

Well... I stand corrected.
When you posted "Is my jump in rating unprecedented?", I interpreted that as a question... and I answered it. Had I known that you were looking for applause rather than an answer, I wouldn't have posted.

No problem your apology is accepted. Thank you for the answer.

Very interesting. But trust me I can see the sarcasm in your comment. You may just be jealous of my extraordinary improvement. But at this rate, I'll be a GM in no time. Should be able to achieve an NM title within in months at this pace.

I know someone who jumped to 1800 in one tournament

but it shall not be unpresidented. president max here at your service.
Thank you Max, how impressed are you with my boost in rating? Have you ever seen anything like this? What words first come to mind for you when you see such an increase in such a short period of time: Sublime, Extraordinary, Magnificent, Magisterial?
Recently, I have experienced an incredible jump in my blitz rating.
I was rated 782 on December 5th, and today I am rated 1075. That is a rating increase of 293 points.
I was so impressed with this achievement that I began to analyze how impressive it is. I was of the opinion that my increase from 782 to 1075 (293 points), is equally as impressive as a GM going from 2500 to 2793 (Also 293 points). But then I got thinking, my rating jump is arguably more impressive since I am a beginner. It is easier for a GM to improve because he is already an expert.
How impressive is my rating jump in reality, and how does it compare to a GM jumping in rating by the same amount?
Thank you for your input in advance.
